POD Basics
Print-on-demand is a business model where products are only printed after a customer orders them. Here's how it works: 1. You create a design (like a t-shirt graphic) 2. You list the product on a store (Etsy, Shopify, etc.) 3. A customer buys it 4. A printing company prints and ships it directly to them 5. You keep the profit You never hold inventory, pack boxes, or visit a post office. The printing company handles all fulfillment.
Almost anything that can be printed on: • Apparel: T-shirts, hoodies, tank tops, leggings • Accessories: Phone cases, tote bags, hats, socks • Home goods: Mugs, pillows, blankets, posters, canvas prints • Stationery: Notebooks, stickers, greeting cards • And more: Shoes, jewelry, pet products, drinkware Through Printify, PODMach gives you access to Printify's catalog of 1,300+ products.
A print provider is the company that actually prints and ships your products. A popular example is: • Printify — Marketplace connecting you to 100+ print facilities worldwide PODMach connects to print providers so you can access their products and automatically route orders to them.
PODMach helps you sell on major marketplaces and your own store: • Etsy — Handmade/creative marketplace • Shopify — Your own online store • WooCommerce — Your own WordPress store • Amazon — Coming soon • TikTok Shop — Coming soon You can sell on multiple platforms simultaneously and manage everything from PODMach.
It depends on your designs, marketing, and effort. Some sellers make a few hundred dollars a month as a side hustle. Others run six-figure businesses. The POD model has low startup costs and no inventory risk, making it a relatively safe way to test business ideas. Your profit per item is typically the difference between your selling price and the base cost from the print provider (usually $5-15 per item profit).
Platform & Features
Most POD tools solve one piece of the puzzle—mockup generation here, listing management there, analytics somewhere else. You end up paying for 5 tools that barely work together. PODMach is a unified system that handles: • Product discovery and catalog management • Design uploads and organization • Mockup generation and editing • Listing creation with AI assistance • Multi-store publishing • Pricing and profit calculation • Order tracking All in one platform. No duct-tape integrations.
MACH AI is our built-in artificial intelligence engine. It helps with: • Writing listings — Generates titles, descriptions, and tags optimized for each marketplace • Selecting mockups — Analyzes your design and recommends the best product photos • Categorizing products — Automatically organizes your catalog • Pricing insights — Suggests optimal pricing based on costs and market data It's not a gimmick—it's a production tool that saves hours of repetitive work.
Our 6-step wizard guides you from design to published listing: 1. Select your design — Upload new or choose from your library 2. Choose a product — Browse Printify's 1,300+ products with pricing info 3. Place your design — Drag and drop to position on the product 4. Pick mockups — Select which product photos to show 5. Write details — Add title, description, tags (AI helps here) 6. Set pricing & publish — Calculate profit and go live Your progress saves automatically. You can pause and resume anytime.
PODMach is not a design tool like Photoshop or Canva—you'll still create your designs in your preferred software. However, PODMach does handle: • Design uploads (PNG, JPEG, PSD) • Design organization and status tracking • Design positioning on products • Color variant application to mockups For PSD files, we can apply different product colors automatically using layer masks.
Mockups are professional product photos showing your design on items. Instead of photographing physical products, you upload your design and our system: 1. Places your design on a high-quality product template 2. Applies the correct colors (for different t-shirt colors, etc.) 3. Generates realistic product images You get professional-looking photos without photography equipment or skills.
Yes. Multi-store support is included on every plan with no caps on the number of connected stores. You can: • Connect multiple Etsy shops • Add Shopify and WooCommerce stores • Manage everything from one dashboard • Publish the same listing to multiple platforms • Track orders across all channels Switch between stores instantly without logging in and out.

Tracking information syncs back to your store Most of this happens automatically—you just monitor for any issues.
